The Victoria Falls marathon route commences at the post office situated across from the Kingdom Hotel, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. All runners are encouraged to stay overnight in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, as the border checkpoint will close early on the race day.

The path leads from the Kingdom Hotel to the historic bridge connecting Zimbabwe and Zambia. This bridge offers magnificent vistas of Victoria Falls. Revert prior to the Zambia border post, cross the bridge once more, and go along Zambezi Drive, which runs parallel to the Zambezi River. Upon passing the colossal baobab tree, you proceed onto the road that ascends towards Zambezi National Park. Navigate a concealed path into the park where you might observe some wildlife. Game rangers are stationed along the route for safety. Proceed to the town and residential district of Victoria Falls. Transfers to the Start Line are arranged for all RunFun Travel participants. The stadium has shade, a cash bar, and food vendors. Transfers are excluded for runners residing at the Kingdom Hotel or Ilala Lodge because to their proximity. A return transfer is available from the finish at the Stadium, which features a cash bar and food stall, back to your accommodation.

This afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel and transported to the dock for the official Marathon Sunset Cruise. This exceptional two-hour boat excursion occurs on the Zambezi River. All beverages and snacks are included while on board. Observe hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of avian species while witnessing the sunset over the Zambezi. Transfers from the cruise to the hotel are included.
